Bob Diamond
Bob Diamond is the former Chief Executive of Barclays PLC, prior to which he served as President of Barclays PLC and Chief Executive of Corporate & Investment Banking and Wealth Management. Previously to Barclays he held senior positions at CS First Boston and Morgan Stanley. During his tenure Mr. Diamond has served on various panels and presented at public and private forums including the World Economic Forum, Clinton Global Initiative, International Monetary Fund, and the Bank for International Settlements, including being a regular guest speaker on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, and Fox Business.
Mr. Diamond is a Life Member of The Council on Foreign Relations, Member of Atlantic Council, Chairman of Colby College, Chairman of Old Vic Productions, Trustee of Mayor's Fund for London and Board member of The Diamond Family Foundation, which supports education projects.
Mr. Diamond received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colby College and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He was awarded Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Connecticut in 2006 and Doctor of Laws from Colby College in 2008.
