Craig Venter

Craig Venter is a biologist and entrepreneur and best known for being among the first to sequence the human genome. Venter founded Celera Genomics, The Institute for Genomic Research and the J. Craig Venter Institute, and has been listed twice as one of Time magazine’s “Most Influential People In The World”. He has won countless awards for his scientific work, authored over 200 publications, and been a guest on several programs including the Colbert Report. Simply, Venter is the leading authority on the future of genetics.
