Vladimir Pozner

Vladimir Pozner is a Russian/American journalist best known in the West for appearing on television to represent and explain the views of the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Pozner and American talk show host Phil Donahue co-hosted a series of televised discussions known as the U.S.–Soviet Space Bridge, the first event of its kind in broadcasting history. "The airing in the Soviet Union of the Donahue space bridges transformed the Soviet public's image of itself," Pozner said. Pozner and Donahue have been friends ever since.
